About Our Office

Dr Miya with a patientIntegrity.

This word has lost much of its meaning in today’s cynical world. We live in a society where we are conditioned to accept mediocrity as the norm. But in dentistry, this is unacceptable! With the advances in technology and materials, people should expect nothing but the best when it comes to their dental care. In short, integrity is defined as a firm adherence to a code of moral and artistic values. Or a more familiar definition would be someone who “walks the talk”!

At our office, this word becomes an integral part of all that we do. It serves as the plumb line for how we approach treatment. You can be assured that we hold ourselves to this high ethical standard. Exercising this philosophy in daily patient care is our top priority. Our office is equipped with some of the latest advances in dentistry, including digital radiographs, intraoral fiber optic cameras, and CO2 laser technology. We also utilize some of the highest quality dental materials available

We understand that coming to the dentist can be a very anxious experience for some people. But when you visit our office, we treat you as family and try to create a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere

What You Can Expect Your First Visit

If you are coming to our office for a non-emergency visit, your first visit will include a comprehensive oral examination which consists of a visual soft tissue oral cancer screening, a tooth-by-tooth evaluation of all existing dental restorations, charting of any signs of dental caries (decay), a periodontal health assessment, and all necessary intraoral radiographs (x-rays)

Dr. Miya will then carefully study all the information gathered at your initial visit and review the results of this examination at your next visit, discuss any treatment that he would recommend to help address your concerns, discuss any significant findings that you may not have been aware of, and answer any questions you may have regarding treatment
